Thanks for picking up our latest edition of the Steffes Auctioneers Catalog!

In these pages you’ll find auctions of all kinds and locations… some more than a thousand miles apart! There are retirement auctions, estate auctions and of course our regularly scheduled events at any of our locations. 

You never know what you’ll find! We have real estate, farm and construction equipment that’s all being sold at public auction to the highest bidder! You do know auctions are the ultimate expression of the American free enterprise system? It’s stood the test of time ever since man has been on earth and I hope it never goes away! You might also notice the vast majority of these auction events are taking place via our online bidding platform. It’s been less than a couple of decades since that has even been possible so think about that monumental change. (Change, the one thing we can count on.)

Now here we are with an ages old process yet the results stay the same. Competitive bidders all choose what they are willing to pay until only one remains. Kind of simple yet effective, don’t you think? Now that certainly is a change to the auction method of marketing but the results remain. It’s true price discovery and we have lots of auctions for each of you to participate in and buy what you need, want or at least do your part in making the markets which is likely even more important. And don’t forget, we still do live auctions and I hope they never go away.

 

What’s the Market Doing?

Speaking of markets, I’d have to say that’s likely the question everyone here at Steffes gets asked the most no matter what we’re selling. What’s the market doing? We’re fortunate in the sense auctions are where markets move first. We’re always first up and of course first down as well. We have a great lens to see through and with technology at your fingertips, so do you. All you have to do is use our Steffes Price Guide App or peruse the thousands of sales transactions through our past auctions all available to you on our website.

 

What's My Stuff Worth

If that doesn’t get you what you need, we can help even further as evaluations, broker price opinions, desk top evaluations and full blown fee appraisals are what we do on a daily basis as well as all these auctions. That answers the second most asked question here at Steffes. “What’s my stuff worth”? We might not know exactly but without bragging, I’d say with our experience, subject matter expertise and market knowledge, I’d say we know better than most. If you have a need, give us a call.
