Regulation Testing:
· Bird Flu testing of all purchased out-of-state lactating dairy cattle is currently scheduled for Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 (post-sale), with results on Friday, March 7, 2025. Cattle will be required to move within 7 days of test results. Testing procedures along with a timeline of results are not guaranteed due to potential updates in regulatory guidelines.
· Bovine tuberculosis (TB) will be completed post-sale for out-of-state purchases that require testing for transport.
Herd Health and Breeding Information:
· Cows noted as “Bred” have been serviced with either Holstein or Beef AI sires and are not confirmed pregnant.
· Cows noted with due dates were last confirmed at the Wednesday, February 26, 2025 preg check.
· Dry cows receive a dry cow intramammary treatment along with a teat sealant.
· Routine hoof trimming.
Load Out Information:
· We are kindly requesting to schedule a load-out appointment time. Please contact Bob Hart (608) 780-4587 for set-up.
· Minnesota cattle purchased can begin load-out on Thursday, March 6th
· Cattle load-outs need to be completed by Wednesday, March 12th
