Dan & Kevin have decided to retire from the dairy business and have chosen Steffes to auction their exceptional herd of registered Holstein & Jersey dairy cattle. Their elite herd features approximately 100 cows & 40 heifers, all parlor, headlock, and free stall trained. This auction presents a rare opportunity to acquire cattle from an outstanding herd. Regulation Testing:

Bird Flu testing of all purchased out-of-state lactating dairy cattle is currently scheduled for Tuesday, June 10^th, 2025 (post-sale), with anticipation of results on Thursday, June 12^th. Cattle will be required to move within 7 days of testing. Testing procedures along with a timeline of results are not guaranteed due to potential updates in regulatory guidelines.
Bovine tuberculosis (TB) will be completed post-sale for out-of-state purchases that require testing for transport.

Registry Information:

All Holstein and Jersey cattle are identified with a “Certificate of Registration”. At time of purchase, individual registration papers will be released to the buyer. The buyer will assume responsibility for all certificate submissions and transfer fees.
