Since its launch in 2009, the Timed Online Auction Division of Steffes Group, Inc. has vastly grown in popularity. Online auctions can occur at your site or at one of our facilities. With online auctions, all bidding takes place on the internet. Buyers pay for their purchases through a quick phone call to the location hosting the auction. Buyers then take possession of their items at the auction site or one of the Steffes facilities. Online auctions allow bidding to take place anytime, anywhere, and anyplace. Bidders can view the auction items online 24/7 and in-person on auction-specified inspection days. Bidders can contact the owner of any item or the Steffes representative in charge of the auction with any questions.
Two primary benefits of having a Timed Online Auction are anonymity and convenience. With the timed online method, bidders do not know who they are bidding against. This can eliminate some hurdles we face with local politics regarding live on-site auctions. It is also incredibly convenient for out-of-area buyers to simply click their mouse button rather than drive to the auction sale. Moreover, this is also beneficial for sellers who do not live close to their land as they can watch the auction online as it unfolds.
Live On-Site Auctions
