Richard “Dick” Ames, founder of Ames Construction, was very well respected in the community no matter where he was; out in the field, in the shop, or at the University of Minnesota football games. He loved talking and interacting with people of all backgrounds. Dick had a passion for farming, his family, and keeping the pride of the Ames family alive.
